The Bette Winik Educational Fund provides support for those who wish to participate in training and conferences in collaborative law and who lack the financial resources to do so. The Council has given dozens of scholarships made possible by member donations. The purpose of the Fund is to honor the work of one of the pioneers of the use of collaborative law in Massachusetts. Bette Winik was a lawyer, mediator, and a member of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council's Board. She was devoted to collaborative solutions to conflict. Her humanity, skill, and dedication to helping families resolve their differences in ways that are productive rather than destructive inspired enormous respect from clients and colleagues.
The Fund is managed by the Board of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council.
